A cosmetic counter standard for over 30 years, Fashion Fair, a cosmetic company focusing on multi-ethnic skin tones, needed a face lift. Their design was inconsistent, and they needed to solidify their branding both in their on-counter cosmetic & skincare tester displays for the launch of their "shop-in-shop" inside the newly renovated Macy's flagship store at Herald Square, NYC.
When IT Cosmetics was approached by Ulta, the beauty retail chain, to partner with them as their official brush line, they need a merchandising and tester display as fabulous as their brushes. By housing the brushes in 9 linear feet of display space, with close to 100 brushes tested in a modular, expandable bin system, the final result is a glowing, glorious homage to what a cosmetic brush line can aspire to be. Easily navigable, easily updatable, and at once both elegant and eye-catching, the IT for Ulta brush gondola is a feat of organization and an elegant solution for understanding and shopping a product line available at nearly 1,000 locations nation-wide.
Bliss Spas has long been a destination for skincare products, body-perfecting tools, spa services, and the happiness and well-being that goes along with their brand. When they decided to move into the cosmetics market, a natural extension for the good-for-your-skin company, Bliss not only needed a new home for their product line but a whole new presentation of their brand. A clean, refreshing reimagined vision of the Bliss brand allows the products and spa services to take the lead while keeping the same reliable service and cheeky branding that Bliss is known for.
Juara is a spa & skincare line inspired directly by the traditional Indonesian practice of herbal medicine called Jamu. Along with modern technologies, they bring their customers a natural and effective line of skin and bath products to bring out your skin's natural radiance.
Newly introduced to spas and retail locations around the world, Juara was in need of a flexible yet simple and elegant set of displays that would further elevate their products while allowing the ingredients to steal the spotlight.
The prestigious UK based skincare brand that started with a basic facial cleanser over 25 years ago, Eve Lom still has a cult following today for its award-winning products. The task at hand was to design and execute a luxury counter top tester to enhance their high-end cosmetic and skincare lines within their existing brand language. The first tester we created was met with such success that it was soon followed by others, as well as wall bays, in-line bays, and a shop-in-shop. As an ongoing client, Eve Lom continues to expand their product line each season, and our displays are ready to accommodate it.
With Asian botanicals at the core of the Amore Pacific skincare philosophy, their product line is firmly grounded in utilizing natural elements to enrich and nourish skin on a deeper level.
In keeping with their existing branding elements, we created a counter tester that both highlights the purity of the ingredients and elevates the product lines while being easily shoppable for the average department store customer.
Tria's revolutionary light-based skincare products bring professional technology into the hands and homes of consumers. With three distinct families of products for a range of skincare issues from laser hair removal to anti-aging and acne treatment, Tria was looking for a family of counter displays that encompass the company's elegant and modern aesthetic, while giving direction to the design language that will represent the company moving forward.
To introduce the launch of Philosophy’s new line of foundations, Ulta stores needed a temporary merchandiser display to live on promotional tables and garner impulse purchases. The temporary yet structural display is comprised of board, wrapped with printed graphics. The use of clear acrylic on the surface of the unit as a graphic lens and product template creates an upscale look despite the temporary nature of the display. Product wells behind the testers provide an opportunity to merchandise eight products, while the full shade range is illustrated graphically on the display.
